Extra Credit Opportunities

10 points - Find a music-related article in a magazine, newspaper or online. Write a one-page review (typed, 12pt, times) that summarizes the article including what you found interesting about the article. Include a copy of the article you referenced.

10 points - Listen to a professional recording that uses violin, viola, cello and/or bass. Write a one-page review of the performance (typed, 12pt, times). Be sure to include the title of the piece, the performer/performing group, and where you found the recording. Remember, there are lots of CDs at the public library.

5 points - Attend a concert(professional or student) that you are not performing in, and bring me a program or ticket stub signed by a parent.
